Our Faith Story is one of People on the Move.

From Abraham to Paul, the Bible is full of people whose faith stories crossed over borders.
From the Old Testament to the New Testament to today, God calls people of faith to welcome and support others who are on the move.

We are all refugees

I believe that people of faith are spiritual refugees.  At our baptism, we became citizens with the saints in heaven (Ephesians 2:19).  But we don’t live in heaven yet – so our time on earth is a spiritual journey, where we are seeking sanctuary and hope.
In this journey, we are not alone.  God is with us.  God goes before us, and God is dwelling among us.

My Joujournal and passportrney

I am a the recipient of the Graduate Preaching Fellowship from Luther Seminary.  This generous award allows me to travel around the world, interacting with refugees and migrants, and the churches which accompany them.  I am traveling to Europe, Latin America, East Africa, and the Middle East.

Connect with the Journey

I want to share my message, my journey, and the stories I hear with others.  Please connect with me via email, facebook, or twitter to schedule a time for me to visit your church, school, or community group in the United States.  I have extensive public speaking experience (as a teacher and a pastor), and want to tailor an event just for you.
